Digital cameras – cutting edge tech!

Do you want to  buy a digital camera?

Digital cameras are the newest technology in the field of photography.

The megapixels keep getting larger! Quality is improving siginificantly!

Everyone should have a good quality digital camera!

Even if you are an amateur photographer there is a perfect digital camera out there for you.

How to buy a digital camera is a question on the minds of a lot of consumer.

I suggest that before you buy a camera read a review on the model you narrowed your choices to and think about the advice you get very carefully because you want to pick the right one!

This is because there are some many to choose from and we aren’t always sure what options we have available.  Below are a few tips for how to buy a digital camera.

1. Decide what your digital camera will be used for.  Will you use it for vacations, pictures around the home, or are you a professional photographer?  Once you have answered this question you can move on.
2. The resolution of your camera is important.  The range of resolution is typically 1 to 10 mega pixels.  The high number of mega pixels the better picture resolution.  This goes back to the first question, what will it be used for.
3. LCD screen size.  Typically an LCD screen is any where from 1 to 3 inches.  The smaller the screen the harder it will be for you to determine if you got the picture you wanted.  LCD screen size is also important because you can stand back and look at the screen rather than the viewfinder to line up the picture a little better.
4. Automatic versus Manual.  The point and shoot digital camera may not have a manual function.  This is not always bad because the digital camera has mode options you can use with the automatic operations.  For a professional this may be a downside because you may want to set up the shot better than the automatic mode can.  There are both types on the market.

5. Modes.  Modes are typically settings with aperture and shutter speeds that are preset on your digital camera.  This takes the guess work out of taking professional looking photographs.

6. Flash is another important aspect you want to have the ability to turn the flash on and off.  Some cameras only have automatic flash and it will decide when you need the flash.

There are a great many more tips for how to buy a digital camera. You can find them at the many forums about photography.

The most important aspects of a digital camera lend to your preferences.  You can go online and read consumer reports and manufacturer reviews to determine the specifications versus the cost of the digital cameras you are interested in and then make a decision.

How to buy a digital camera is as important as the camera itself because you want the best quality you can buy.
